The young wizard Darius loses his house after failing to pay a loan and ends up living for free in the house of a wanted wizard.

While he meets a swordswoman who has absolutely no sense of direction and a plant girl who wrinkles immediately if she doesn't drink enough water, fate decrees that she can travel together.
